About Me

Hi, I’m Dixie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice with over twenty years of experience supporting children, adults, and families in both school and clinical settings. I hold an Ed.S. in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina and have served as a School Counselor, private practitioner, and supervisor to other counselors.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating major life transitions, including divorce, grief, estrangement, and career changes. I also love working with teens and young adults, as well as doing parent consultation. My professional and personal experience with traumatic grief has shaped a compassionate, grounded approach to helping clients process loss, find meaning, and move forward with resilience.

I am especially dedicated to working with clients who seek deeper self-understanding and insight to foster growth in their personal and professional lives.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy gardening and spending time with family and friends.
